The "Macro Delight" sive safari tour is aimed specifically at scuba divers with a love of the stunning, small marine creatures so often overlooked by the majority of divers. Photographers and recreational divers will adore the abundance of some of these fascinating marine treasures of Bali, Indonesia.

This dive safari package will begin by heading east to Secret Bay where you will be amazed by the rare and fascinating marine creatures hiding out in this surprising and perhaps initially visual unappealing location! It is a real Underwater Photographers Paradise!

NB. Visibility at this location can be variable – please discuss this with our experienced staff when making your reservation. Optional Night Dive In This Location Is Recommended.

After completion of this day's diving we will stay overnight in Pemuteran.
The next morning we will head to Menjangan Island (Deer Island). Reputedly the best diving in Bali at one time, the area has suffered some damage to coral in more recent years.

Nudibranch (Thecacera pacifica)

Now part of Bali Barat National Park, the coral is recovering and Menjangans white sandy bottoms and walls provide great backdrops and reflected light against which to enjoy the abundance of marine life.

On completion of the second diving day, we will head for East Bali to Tulamben, lying in the shadow of Mount Agung. An optional night dive is highly recommended at this location.

Tulamben is frequently visited by many scuba divers for its easily accessible shipwreck, however this is only one nice site of this location. Recently, Tulamben has been the place of an International professional photography contest, because of its beautiful and easy accessible underwater life.

Our professional staff is well known with these locations and can find some of the unusual marine creatures at the Tulamben dive sites, and will be happy to share their finds with you. The Paradise housereef aka patchreef in the shallows is home to a wide variety of creatures and the dark sandy slope is dotted with brightly coloured nudibranches, anemones.

Harlequin Shrimps (Hymenocera elegans)

Harlequin shrimp and crabs aswell as Ghostpipefish hide out along the slope and hand fish can be found along the rocky spill by the edge of the Drop-off dive site. Pygmy seahorses have been found on the gorgonian fans on the Drop-off itself. Two dives at this place will only be able to scratch the surface a bit!
