Dive Sites Around Amed and North-East Coast

Karangasem Area

Dive sites of Bali's North-East Coast are situated in the Karangasem district and offer a beautiful but dry scenery, very laid back, tranquil area. From quiet dive sites found at Jemeluk Bay and Lipah Bay to current swept advanced locations in the currents of the Lombok strait at Gili Selang.

This area still has a feeling of the old Bali, no traffic jams like in Kuta or Denpasar and local children standing beside the road waving when you pass by.

Getting There

This area can be reached from Sanur in about 2.5 hours and a ride from the Tulamben area will take you in around 25 minutes to the dive sites around Amed and Jemeluk Bay.
