Dive Sites Map of Sanur Area
Sanur
Located at the south-east of Bali's mainland, Sanur is a village that stretches for approximately 5 kilometers on the coast of the Badung Strait. Sanur is an alternative to the busy tourist place Kuta, and visited by laid back tourists who like to enjoy relaxed holidays. Sanur has many nice / good restaurants and bars, hotels. It lacks however dancings and nightlife like Kuta.
Swimming and Snorkeling
Sanur has a long stretch of white-sandy beach that is protected by a reef few hunderds meters from the shoreline. Although the beach is suffering from erosion, it is a good place to have a swim and to do some snorkelling. There is a lot of marine life to see on the top of the reef, preferably during high tides.
