Liveaboard Diving Safaris Bali
The greatest feature of scuba diving in Bali is the rich and varied dive sites - deep drop-offs and steep banks, coral ridges and bommies, one of the most famous wreck dives in the world (USAT Liberty), volcanic outcrops and sea grass beds. With the colorful and diverse marine life, there's enough around Bali to keep you coming back for more. From large pelagic sea creatures like Mola-Mola and Manta Rays to the smallest macro photographic opportunities can be found around 'magical' Bali and it's accompanying islands.. Liveaboard Safaris To Komodo National Park and Nusa PenidaBIDP's partnership with Sea Safari Liveaboard Cruises provides regular (weekly) trips to Komodo National Park for some extraordinary Scuba diving. The waters around Komodo are a tantalizing attraction for divers and offer stunning unspoiled coral and a vast variety of marine life, virtually unmatched in other parts of the world. There will be a possibility to go on land and see and photograph the famous Komodo dragon's yourself.. One of the best places for Scuba diving around Bali is the island Nusa Penida, which is situated between Bali and Lombok in the Lombok strait. This place offers dive locations for novice or experienced divers. Nusa Penida is the largest of 3 islands (the others being Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan). The water here can be fairly cold (because of the ocean upwellings) but often startlingly clear, offering a variety of excellent fish life and coral aswell as Mola-Mola's (the weird and wonderful Ocean Sunfish). Manta Rays are regular visitors at a dive site which carries the name Batu Lumbung (called "Manta Point" by many local dive companies) BIDP can make a special video shooting of your liveaboard safari to Nusa Penida island and/or Komodo, underwater and above. We will present the edited result on DVD to make your liveaboards in Indonesia a lasting and memorable experience!
