Nusa Penida Liveaboard Bali

 

DIVE ITINERARY
3D2N BALI – NUSA PENIDA - BALI

Day One : BENOA – BALI
Embarkation from Benoa Harbour , Bali around 08.00AM. Snack and welcome drinks will be offered. In the afternoon, our boat will arrive at North Ceningan Island. The temperature is around 23-28 degree Celsius. We will start the whole journey by speed boat. Our first diving activity shall start at Ceningan Wall combined with Ceningan Channel. Start off with a slope resident of large schools sweetlips and climaxes with a steep wall drops with soft coral growth, an abundant fish life while the drift diving is recommended to see some of the best marine life such as sun fish, eagle rays, and sharks in Ceningan Channel.
Another good dive site will be at Toyapakeh Coral Garden combined with Toyapakeh Wall. Located at the entrance of the narrow channel between Penida and Nusa Lembongan. The water is clear (25-40 meters visibility). You can see coral bushes, and the deeper areas offer other pelagics like tuna, manta rays, jack fish barracuda and sunfish. The current here can be unpredictable and tricky.
A night dive is also offered dinner around the nearest best dive site.

Day Two : NUSA PENIDA
After breakfast, you will start your diving from Crystal Bay (Bat Cave of Nusa Penida) : enter from underwater, surface inside the cave (which is open to the sky) where bats sleep overhead - big waves may crash in through the top. Sometimes 2 small reef shark are in the cave, but they leave when you arrive!
Continuing along the wall from the Bat Cave at 20-24M, the hard corals provide homes for a lot of lobster.
Dive will continue in Batu Abah where is renowned for its rich variety of Nudibranch and oceanic sunfish.
After lunch, we go on to SD, named for Sekolah Dasar or Primary School there, these sites are located on the coral reef that runs the length of Nusa Penida's north coast and offers great drift-diving. Dinner will be served onboard and if possible we will have a night dive also.

Day Three : NUSA PENIDA – BENOA
The last day in Nusa Penida will be started after breakfast with a dive at Manta Point. The diving was pristine, where the party never ends. It is like diving in a giant aquarium to see the dancing manta in their home, with dramatic underwater terrain highlighted by see the sea floor carpeted with coral in every direction. Larger pelagic includes manta ray, barracuda, giant traveling fish and small fish darting all over the place.
Lunch will be served onboard. And then continue to Sakenan Point which offers more challenging diving, strong currents, promise good visibility with dozen of marine life especially home of sweet lips with dramatic underwater corals terrain highlighted by thriving reefs and abundant soft corals includes many of the more exciting.
Next, in the noon, diving goes on at Blue Corner. Located off the point of Nusa Lembongan, a long thin island just north-west of Nusa Penida and is a very popular drift dive. However the current can be strong, and can try to pull you downwards. Blue Corner is usually full of fish as well as shark, big Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and other marine life. July – September you often see Mola–Mola (Sunfish).
Finally, your diving trip has come to an end but memories lives on. In the evening, we will head back to Bali with Sea Safari Phinisi boat.
