Explore the thrilling and exciting underwater world and swim between the coral reefs and fish on the nicest divesites here in Bali using compressed air and full Scuba gear. Experience Bali's marine life and maybe you are able to find some unidentified underwater creature..

The PADI Junior Open Water Diver Certification Course has a duration of 5 days, but it is possible to take a day off and explore Bali's life above the water, or just to relax for a while. We try to be flexible, it's your holiday after all.

The Junior Open Water Course is split up in the following three part:

  1. Theoretical Training (classroom and independent lessons)
  2. Confined Water Training (practical skill development in a swimming pool)
  3. Four (4) Open Water Dives (under close supervision of your PADI instructor)

Outline Of The Course

PADI Junior Open Water CertificateStudy of the Open Water Manual during classroom lessons. Included are quizzes and 5 knowledge reviews to test the future diver's theoretical knowledge of Scuba Diving and the gear that is used to submerge underwater. During the knowledge reviews there is space for questions and you will be helped by your instructor to make things clear that are not yet understood.

The theoretical part and classroom sessions aswell as the confined water sessions in the pool take 3 days and will be followed by a final multiple choice examamination in which the student has to show independent knowledge about Scuba Diving, the use of recreational dive planner etc.

During the fourth and fifth days it gets serious, we are heading for Bali's reefs to conduct the Open Water Dives! During these two days you will make 4 dives in the sea under close supervision of your PADI instructor. You have to show to your instructor all the required skills like regulator and mask clearing, achieving neutral buoyancy using the Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) etc.

After having finished these 4 Open Water Dives with good result, your Scuba instructor will sign your certification documents and hand you a temporary certification card (valid worldwide). Your offical permanent certificate will be issued with the PADI organisation in Australia and delivered by post at your home adress in your country, this may take around four weeks.
