PADI Skin Diver Snorkeling CourseThe PADI Skin Diver Snorkeling Course will result in PADI certification, this in contrast with the Discover Snorkeling experience. The Skin Diver course is a structured course and has specific program requirements. Students of the Skin Diver course have to demonstrate proficiency in surface dives, equalization and ascent techniques. Outline Of The Course
In the course you will first learn about the different types of skin diving equipment and what to take in concideration when choosing your equipment for skin diving. You will learn to be relaxed at the water surface while breathing with a snorkel and how to move on the surface / underwater and equalise pressure of the ears. You will learn about safe breath holding techniques and how to prevent damaging the precious marine life when snorkelling. The Skin Diver Snorkeling course is a great experience for children and adults who like active sports. The course is conducted over 3 pool sessions (open water training is recommended but not necessary for certification). Before the start of each session you get lessons about the various topics that are included in this course. There is enough room for questions. The knowledge development part of the course will cover information about equipment, diving science, environment, problem management and safe practices of Skin Diving around Bali, Indonesia. The confined and open water portions of the course will cover techniques to handle equipment, entering the water and checking buoyancy, surface swimming, snorkel clearing and performing surface dives.
