* Advanced EANx Nitrox Diver - Tech Diving Course *

This technical diving program is designed to extend the diver's knowledge in the use of EANx for recreational diving. It further develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the Nitrox diving concept. The course employs EANx mixes from 21% to a maximum of 50%. The maximum for diving EAN is 40%. For decompression and safety stops the maximum is EAN 50%.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Must be an IANTD Advanced Open Water Diver and IANTD Deep Air Diver with 15 logged dives or experience as a Deep Air Diver with 50 logged dives with at least 10 between 27msw (90fsw) and 39msw (130fsw), plus completion of pool/shallow OW skills in the IANTD Deep Air Diver program, and completion of the IANTD Deep Air Diver exam with a minimum score of 80%
Minimum of 15 yrs. With parent or guardian authorization or a minimum of 18 years of age without guardian approval.

  • Equipment part 1
  • Dive planning part 1
  • Ascent
  • Physics & Physiology

DAY 1 - Afternoon: 2 Open Water Dives

  • Tech Dive 1 - OW Depth 27-39msw (90-130fsw)
  • Tech Dive 2 - OW Depth 9-27msw (30-90fsw)

DAY 1 - Evening Classroom:

  • Dive Planning part 2
  • Decompression
  • Stress Management
  • Equipment part 2

DAY 2 - Morning Classroom:

  • Dive Planning part 3
  • Injury Management
  • Dive Planning part 4

DAY 2 - Afternoon: 2 Open Water Dives

  • Tech Dive 3 Depth 27-39msw (90-130 fsw)
  • Tech Dive 4 Depth 9-27msw (30-90 fsw)
  • Early evening written exam
